This Simple Technique gave the me the Softest, Most Hydrated Feet Ever!

Beauty Treatments
Spring is within arms reach.  Which means that we'll be rocking open-toed shoes again.  Are your feet spring ready? If not, I stumbled on a quick little DIY tip that could save the day.

Best of all, it involves using a facial product that most of us already own.  This by far is the most effective hack I've ever come across for hydrating and nourishing your feet.  I promise that if you try this, you will have no worries come spring.

On Saturday morning I decided to do a little bit of pampering. No pampering session is complete without the use of a sheet mask.  After enjoying the sheet mask for around ten minutes, it was time to remove.  I love how sheet masks are saturated with product. But, at the same time, it sometimes feels a bit wasteful to throw the remaining serum away.  When there's an excess of product left in the package, I use this technique to salvage it for later use.

This particular mask didn't leave a bunch of excess serum in the packet.  But the sheet was still saturated when I removed.  I couldn't throw a perfectly wet sheet mask away,  Suddenly, an idea popped in my head.

Why not rub the sheet mask over my feet?

Hear me out.

Typically, when my feet feel overly dry, we tend to reach for thicker creams, oils or gels.  They do their job but they're missing an essential function--the ability to infuse moisture to the tougher skin on the soles of our feet.  I thought, "maybe this sheet mask serum could do the trick."

I was absolutely right!

My feet happily welcomed the intense hydration the sheet mask provided.  This was probably the first time in all my life that I've ever treated them to such nourishing ingredients.  But it didn't stop there.  To take things to the next level, I decided to break out my gel socks.

They look like your typical ankle socks on the outside.  But the inside is lined with a gel coating.  This coating traps moisture like none other.  This only enhanced the results of my little experiment.    Thirty minutes later, I removed the socks to reveal the softest feet I've ever experienced in my life.  Then I sealed everything in by then adding my favorite moisturizer.

This experiment was a huge success and my husband co-signed on the transformation.

Give this a try. I promise you won't be disappointed.

  1. Girl!! This will be a game changer for me. My feet used to be so embarrassing but using apple cider vinegar for an astringent changed them for the better. I have never heard of gel socks but I will be grabbing a pair or two. Soft feet and hands are uber signs of femininity. Thanks for sharing!!
