I have this weird obsession with exfoliating my body.  This obsession has served me well over the years.  I'm constantly on the hunt for beauty essentials that will aid in my mission to have the smoothest, glowiest skin ever.  Recently, I stumbled on one of my favorite finds yet.  And I can't wait to share it with you.

A friend of mine got her certification in the medical aesthetics field.  As part of her training, she reached out to friends who wanted to diminish scars, discoloration, or any unsightly imperfections on the body.  I was one of the people she reached out to.  Obviously, I was excited at the opportunity.  But, after thinking about it long and hard, I realized that I didn't have any scars on my body that I needed to erase.  

All of the scars, discoloration, or blemishes from my past were now gone.  I'm pretty convinced that my dedication to body exfoliation, over the years, has a lot to do with it.  

It all began when I fell in love is Tree Hut's Shea sugar scrub.   Then I was introduced to the Salux cloth, and, most recently, Crystal Peel Collection's exfoliating soap bars.  This summer, I added something new to my shower routine and it's quickly become one of my favorites.

The shower essential that I use daily is an exfoliating glove.  A shower glove is like having a Salux cloth in an easy-to-use format.  The glove becomes one with your hand, making exfoliation an effortless process. Unlike other exfoliators, the glove integrates into your entire shower routine.  So basically, I'm exfoliating from start finish. 

Years ago, when I was first introduced to Korean body exfoliation, I saw the use of mitts to effectively remove the top layer of dead skin.  I was in awe of how well these gloves worked but I never thought to seek out the gloves for myself.  Full disclosure, these mitts don't really remove skin flakes like we see in the videos unless you prep the skin accordingly.  For example, if you did a sauna session first or soaked in hot water prior to the vigorously exfoliating.  

This beauty essential is just a few dollars and it makes a world of difference to the look and feel of your skin.  Thanks for this amazing scrubbing glove, I exfoliate my body each and every day.  Daily scrubbing makes a world a difference.   When I implemented the habit of scrubbing my heels every day in the shower, I no longer had to worry about dry, unsightly feet.   Now that I exfoliate my entire body every time I shower, my skin has never been softer.
